Wilshire Refrigeration & Appliance, Inc. is dedicated to providing you with the highest possible quality of Sub-Zero and Wolf appliance services available; therefore we provide in-home service exclusively for Sub-Zero and Wolf appliance manufacturers.  We are factory authorized service for the brands we work with and provide In-Warranty and Out-Of-Warranty service for these manufacturers. Our technicians are provided factory training on a regular basis to keep up with product evolution. We use factory specified replacement parts, test equipment and repair methods to ensure your investments are performing to specifications. Each technician carries a wide variety of replacement parts on their truck to help ensure that a second visit is not necessary. If a replacement part is needed and not stocked on their truck, we will do our very best to get that part for you as soon as possible.

Our technicians are dispatched to a geographical area making it easier to accommodate our customers and their schedules.  In fact, to assist you in keeping your appointments, our Customer Service Representatives will call to remind you of scheduled appointments the afternoon before the appointment. We make every effort possible to accommodate your busy schedule. We know your time is very valuable and do our best to respect it.

For safety reasons our service professionals wear uniforms and ID cards for easy identification and our technicians are diligent about protecting and respecting you, your appliance, and your property. We use floor mats during service calls to ensure tools do not come in contact with the flooring.

SERVICE COST

The time it takes a physician to make a diagnosis and prescribe a remedy would not be possible without many years of studying medicine, his/her continuing studies to keep abreast of latest medical discoveries, and his/her expense of keeping an adequately equipped and staffed place of business. You pay for his knowledge and skill plus a share of his cost of doing business, not for the few minutes he spends with you.
Similarly, the charge in for providing competent service in your home cannot be determined solely by the time it takes the technician to diagnose your appliance and make repairs.

A qualified service organization's costs begin with the salary of the professional technician who provides the service. This amount is the same whether the technician is actually making repairs in customers' homes, traveling to keep appointments, or participating in training to sharpen his skills. A technician typically spends less than half his time in customers' homes, his company's cost for each hour in your home is considerably greater then the technician's hourly wage.

The cost to a service organization (except for the technician's time on the job) could be about the same for a simple job of replacing a fuse as it is for a difficult job.

When you are pleased with the service you are given but still question the fairness of the bill - even after taking into account these somewhat less visible, but very real, elements of cost...question it! Call and tell the company that provided the service, and ask to speak to a manager. Usually that's all that's needed to get a satisfactory explanation or an adjustment if one is justified.

When that professional service technician knocks on your door, many costs have been incurred just to get him there, ready to do your job.

"My Sub-Zero refrigerator stopped cooling properly. Sub-Zero representatives told me to contact Wilshire Refrigeration, the only authorized service center for my area. I read several negative reviews of this company online and was extremely hesitant to contact them. But B.J. in customer service was very reassuring and helpful, and convinced me to do so. Wilshire Refrigeration sent Jason out on the same day I called, so of course I was very pleased with that. Then, Jason was fabulous; technically amazing, efficient, happy, friendly, answered all of my questions and explained what he was doing. More importantly, he instantaneously and correctly diagnosed the problem, had the parts in his truck, fixed the problem (replaced evaporator), and cleaned the lines, replaced the filter, re-gassed the evaporator, etc. I was very impressed with his mix of skills, expertise, and how many things he had to do to make the repair.
